CODA FHD CODEC Series
CODA7L is a highly optimized full HD, multi-format video engine which is capable of decoding H.264 BP/MP/HP, VC-1 SP/MP/AP, MPEG-1/2. MPEG-4 SP/ASP, H.263 P3, DivX/XviD, AVS, RV-8/9/10, VP8, MVC formats up to full HD 1920x1088 resolution, and encoding H.264, MPEG-4, and H.263 video up to full HD 1920x1088 resolution. CODA7L is capable of delivering real-time multi-stream processing of high-definition video, the CODA7L series provides the best encoding quality with an advanced search algorithm, low power consumption based on multi-level clock gating which can shut off the clocks when the modules are idle, and excellent bandwidth management utilizing internal cache for MC.

This core is targeted for multimedia devices including mobile devices, HDTV, HD set-top boxes, car DVR, PVR, and surveillance cameras.

JPEG Codec Series
CODAJ12 is a standalone and high-performance JPEG Codec IP that performs the JPEG baseline/extended sequential and M-JPEG decoding and encoding. Fully compliant with the baseline and extended sequential DCT mode of ISO/IEC 10918-1 JPEG standard, CODAJ12 is capable of supporting MJPEG streams with various color formats supporting resolutions up to 32Kx32K. Its fully hardware-based architecture allows for very high performance and low power consumption and makes it suitable for a variety of digital imaging applications. On-the-fly pre-and post-image processing can also contribute to the improvement of memory bandwidth efficiencies.

CODA988 is FHD multi-standard video IP designed to meet the strong demand for increased digital video quality, higher resolution, and frame rates for consumer multimedia applications. CODA988 is capable of decoding or encoding up to 1080p 60fps for multiple video standards and offers real-time video transcoding or communication. and for H.264, it supports up to 4K(4Kx2K) resolution.

Since this IP is designed to optimally share most of the sub-blocks that are used in common for video processing, it provides ultra-low power and low gate count. The CODA988 adds full decoding support for MVC for stereoscopic 3D experiences, Theora and WebM (VP8) for HTML5-enabled devices with an internet connection.

CODA966 is full HD multi-standard video IP for consumer multimedia products which can decode compressed video in a format of H.264 BP/MP/HP, VC-1 SP/MP/AP, MPEG-1/2, MPEG-4 SP/ASP, H.263P3, DivX/XviD, AVS, AVS+, RV-8/9/10, VP8, MVC, and Theora up to full HD 1920x1088 resolution. It can also encode H.264, MPEG-4, and H.263 video up to full HD 1920x1088 resolution.

CODA966 can perform simultaneous real-time encoding, decoding, or both encoding and decoding of different multiple format video streams at multiple resolutions.
