Chips&Media and Innofidei Unveil New Chip Design for CMMB in China Market

July 27, 2009 -- Chips&Media, Inc., the leading provider of video Intellectual property (IP) cores, today announced that Innofidei, Inc., a fabless semiconductor company for the mobile TV broadcast market of Beijing, Silicon Valley, and Taipei, has completed its CMMB single-chip design tape out and scheduled to ship in the coming months.    Innofidei’s ARM-based new chip design used Chips&Media’s BodaDx Video IP core family as a video engine that supports CMMB standards and video decoding such as H.264, MPEG-4.     “We were very pleased that had achieved first silicon success in china market.
